What’s not to love about this boy? We believe he is a Lhasa Apso, possibly Shih Tzu mix pup who is approximately 4 years old and weighs about 20 lbs.  Gumbo gets along great with his foster family’s two doggies and 9 and 11 year old kids. He is house-broken, does well in the car, doesn’t shed, and hasn't barked much at all. He loves to play with his toys, with people, and on his own. He’s spunky, but not overly active. He’s just as happy to snuggle up and nap next to you! Hard to believe that this sweet pup was five minutes away from being euthanized at a kill shelter when rescue folks saved him! He is sure to be a blessing for some lucky family!

All of our adoptable pups have an adoption fee of $200, regardless of our expenses, and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 6 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 4 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
