Hi, my name is Scout. And yes, I'm mostly German Shepherd, but there's a little something else mixed in with me, possibly Belgian Shepherd. They estimate I was born sometime in Feb of this year and I already weigh between 30 and 35 lbs, so I will be pretty darn big when I'm an adult. Although I have plenty of puppy energy, I enjoy a good nap from time to time. I love playing chase and tug with my foster family's puppies and we get along great...and I like their cat as well. I would really like to find my "furever" family to share my love with. I'm extremely friendly, sleep quietly all night in my bed in the gated kitchen, am eager to learn, and doing pretty good on my potty training. I must say I'm not a fan at all of crates though. Since I'm still young they say I should find a furever home with a family who has the time and commitment to help me get through my puppy phase! If you are interested in adding this pup to your family, please fill out our Pre-Adoption Application. The link to this form can be found on the home page of our website, http://dfwpuppatrol.com. It can be submitted via email to info@dfwpuppatrol.com or faxed to 972-767-4849. All of our adoptable pups have an adoption fee of $200, regardless of our expenses, and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 6 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 4 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
