How this amazing dog ended up on the kill list at the shelter is beyond me! He was extremely scared at the shelter (duh!) and therefore was listed as rescue only. On his last day, Pup Patrol stepped in and rescued him.  He was named Snoop Dawg because he's such a cool dog with a cute little goatee, but we should have named him Angel because he is such a good, sweet dog. He was underweight and covered in fleas & ticks (as a result he has some hair loss on his backside), but he should be a good 50 lb dog by the time he gets to his recommended weight. The vet thinks he is around 2 years old.

Snoop gets along with other dogs, has no problem with cats, but can be touchy around children no doubt due to a past experience.  We are working with him on this and he is improving and will continue to do so with time and patience. He loves every bit of attention he can get. He is housetrained and sleeps quietly in the bedroom on the floor all night. He isn't quite sure of the squeaky toys yet, but will fetch and bring back a soft ball if you throw it. He walks really well on a leash, and comes running if you call him to you. He is a very calm laid back pup that is going to make someone very happy!
