Sherman or Shermie... Wow! He can grab your heart with his tiny and delicate paws. He is without a doubt the sweetest and most heart wrenching adorable baby that we have met. He gets along well with the other dogs although he is not a cat lover . He barks and growls and chases them. He is not likely to do any great harm of course, they are much bigger than he is. He can jump well and make it to the couch , the kitchen chair or up on the tub and to the bathroom counter in a flash. Very agile he is! Rabbits are a great joy to chase so he needs a good solid leash/collar, or probably a harness to keep him restrained. The terrible terrier side of him.. haha! Now, when he isn't terrorizing the cats or bunnies, he is an accomplished sleeper. All he needs is a place to hang his head and be with his people and he is pretty happy and content. He is very shy and unsure of himself though. He wants to be loved on and will get excited about going outside and dance around or run around in the yard with the others but when you sit in the floor he will kind of slink over, head down a little... He seems to be scared that he will be punished or maybe just pushed away. It is very sad to see and makes you hurt for him and whatever he has been through in his life. He does seem to be house trained!! Crate trained too, but he doesn't really care for the crate. Over all he is just a wonderful little boy that is very sensitive and cuddly, but needs some help with his self confidence. We believe Sherman is a Yorkie/Terrier mix and around 18 months old. He is about 7 lbs currently. If you are interested in adding this pup to your family, please fill out our Pre-Adoption Application.
