Skippy "Skip" is estimated to have been born about Sept, 2013, and he weighs around 30lbs and it appears he is full grown at his current height and weight. Skippy is a loving and gentle soul who gets along GREAT with other dogs and children of all ages. His foster home has 3 other dogs and two kids under 3 years old. He is a total cuddlebug and wants to curl up next to you at every opportunity. He is completely housetrained and can sleep in or out of a crate at night. He is learning to walk on a leash and with a bit of consistent training, he will do wonderfully. He knows basic commands, but is not perfect yet in their execution.
Skippy has the awesome ability to play on the level of whatever other dogs he is around. When a younger, more excitable dog is present, he matches that sort of play, but knows how to tone it down for more mild interactions. He is generally calm on a day to day basis and only gets excited when that sort of activity is introduced. He doesn’t shed as much as you would imagine a dog would with his soft, thick coat. He has a healthy appetite and can eat next to other dogs with no issue. He loves to chew on dog toys so make sure you have plenty of those laying around for him to entertain himself with. Skippy is not much of a barker either! Please consider making Skippy a part of your family, he has the biggest heart and kindest way about him.
