Super sweet Sugar Cookie was rescued from a high kill shelter. She is estimated to be about 3 years old, current weighs approximately 13lbs, and we believe she is a Maltese/Terrier mix pup. She is working on house and crate training and she is coming along nicely. She does well with a schedule that she can adjust to.  Sugar sleeps in the crate with no problem, and she will bark in the morning when she is ready to get up.  She is playing very well with the other pups in her foster home and rarely bothers the cat. She LOVES food, knows how to sit, and really loves any attention she can get. She will come up and put her little front feet up on your leg to get a cuddle.  She is just about as sweet as any dog can be. We are working on leash training as she does like to pull a little on a walk. Sugar is a great little dog and will do well in a quieter household, as she does get a little stressed with a lot of noise and commotion.

All of our adoptable pups have an adoption fee of $200, regardless of our expenses, and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 6 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 4 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
