Hi my name is Thor.  Yes, like the movie hammer-wielding god.  But, I’m actually a small to medium built boy. I have a lean build, but a great appetite so I should fill out some but not get much taller.  They say I'm probably a Bluetick Heeler, was born about Feb, 2013, and weigh a great size of approximately 38 lbs.  I was in the shelter a couple of months waiting patiently. DFWPP decided it was time to find me a home.

I am a super sweet boy. I give kisses and try crawl in your lap. LOVE TO RUN AND PLAY. My best friend right now is a female Great Dane.  She’s pretty fast, but I am really quick too.  I do have some energy, so a home with children, an active family, and other dogs for me to play with would be best for me.  BUT NO KITTIES PLEASE!!!  I haven't been with the rescue long, but I haven't had an accident in the house yet, yay me!  I am also crate trained.  I’m pretty good about sleeping in my crate at night (unless you want me for a snuggle buddy as I am of course perfectly content to stretch out next to you).

All of our adoptable pups have an adoption fee of $225, regardless of our expenses, and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 6 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 4 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
