Prancer is a chocolate Chihuahua mix pup that was estimated to have been born around November 2014.  He weights about 8 lbs, and has a couple of white-dipped paws and a blaze of white on his chest.  He was recently rescued from the Garland Shelter as a stray off the street . He is very smart, housetrained, and does not 'mark' in the house.  He likes to sleep with his owner, typical of Chi's, burroughing under the sheets.  He does not like to be in a crate if he knows you are home.  He is not destructive, and can be left alone uncrated for a reasonable time, 1-3 hours with no problem.  He is not a picky eater, he eats 3/4 cup quality dry dog food twice per day.  He does not require strenuous daily exercise, walking the neighborhood 3-4 houses to the right and left of his home will help him find his front door if he does get out.  Use caution opening the front door, because he may bolt to the outside.  Prancer is a wonderful companion that would make a great addition to any family, active or only moderately active.

If you are interested in adding this pup to your family, please fill out our Pre-Adoption Application. The link to this form can be found on the home page of our website, http://dfwpuppatrol.com.
